Everybody knows how hard is to keep up with fashion. One week you dress like a king or a queen, the next week you feel like a looser with a big L. What do fashion moguls do in their spare time? Many of them have blogs or write columns. What can you learn from these websites and articles? A lot! They give you a behind the scenes glimpse into how they work, what to avoid, and what to take advantage of. That’s why we’ve put together this post on five tips for dressing like a fashion mogul to help get you acquainted with the style of the rich and famous.
1) Pay attention for “Style” and “Trends”. Whenever you see something people are wearing, it probably has some style or trend involved; this will make it easier for you too pick up your outfit and get noticed by others. Fashion trends are not just for the poor and tasteless. While most people can’t buy the latest Chanel handbag or Gucci loafers, there are still some great tips that you can use to get that fashionable look without breaking the bank. For example, take a look at this link to learn how to wear your brown dress shoes in fall without looking like you’re headed back to school.

2) All of your clothing items should be “Mix and match” with each other. No more than 3 colours and no less than 2 pieces for a dress or pair of pants. This will help you to look more unique and stylish; while still not going overboard. Get rid of your suit jacket. Sure you’re a top fashion executive, but who is going to buy your suit jacket? And most importantly: who is going to look at you and think: wow, this guy looks like an executive? Don’t hide behind your wool suit and tie – we all know that boring corporate look – you must use the same kind of attitude with your outfit as rockstars and hipsters do.
3) Always wear one piece of accessories, accessories are any piece of cloth besides the upper body or lower body clothing item, including shoes/boots, hats, belts etc. An example would be wearing a long sleeve shirt with a watch on the wrist. Wear some dapper duds instead. In this tough economic climate where everything is expensive, dapper duds are the way for you to dress up without blowing your salary on those designer pieces of extra fabric. A lot of expensive suits may be made out of expensive fabrics like silk or wool, but that doesn’t mean that they are perfect for every occasion or fit into any wardrobe.
4) Make sure to have different types of shoes in your wardrobe: casual shoes, dress shoes, boots for fall/winter and sandals or flip flops for summer. This will ensure that your closet is versatile and can be used for many occasions and events. Don’t buy items that are out of fashion. Trends come and go, so don’t buy something just because you think it looks cool. One minute, this oversized sweater is in fashion; the next, it might be worn only by chavs. The best way to wear outlandish outfits is to mix them with classics that will never go out of fashion – like a classic red sweater for instance.

5) I think most people would agree that you should wear clothing that makes you feel confident for any special occasion, therefore if you love how it looks, feels and fits on you – wear it even if the trend is over! You won’t go wrong with this. This tip is about how to select your outfit, not what to wear when. Be uniqueee. Have you ever heard of Donna Karan? Probably not, but she’s probably the most famous fashion designer of all time. By having a unique appearance and a distinctive style, she was able to stand out from the crowd and attract a lot of attention. You need to do the same thing in order to be truly fashionable – especially in this era of over-accessorized celebrities where everyone wants to copy someone else.
Fashion is all about being bold, sharing what you like with others, following your own rules and eventually working for something bigger than yourself or your job title. In short: You’re not going to make it in fashion unless you make it interesting.e and unique clothing choices are easier than ever before.
